SUMMARY:Moving Forward Together 2018
DESCRIPTION:Join the North American Bikeshare Association (NABSA) and the Better Bike Share Partnership (BBP) in Portland\, Oregon from September 4-7\, 2018 for Moving Forward Together\, a joint conference that will focus on challenges and opportunities in the bikeshare space. \nWho should attend? \nAnyone working in or with the bikeshare industry is encouraged to attend: bikeshare operators\, equipment manufacturers\, technology vendors\, city staff working on bikeshare or bicycling infrastructure\, bike advocacy organizations\, planners\, and community partners using bikeshare as a tool for local priorities.  \nNABSA & BBP offer a government/non-profit discounted rate. Scholarships are also available to ensure a diversity of organizations\, backgrounds and expertise. Members of NABSA receive one complimentary conference ticket per $1\,000 dues level. \nWhat topics will be covered? \nAgenda details will be shared as speakers and presenters are confirmed. NABSA is the bikeshare industry’s membership organization with representation from system owners\, operators\, host cities\, equipment providers and technology providers. \nThe Better Bike Share Partnership is a collaboration funded by The JPB Foundation to build equitable and replicable bike share systems. The partners include The City of Philadelphia\, Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia\, the National Association of City Transportation Officials (NACTO) and the PeopleForBikes Foundation. Initially funded in 2014 for a three-year period\, The JPB Foundation renewed funding in 2017 for an additional two years.
