At ITS America, we are excited to be at the center of the smart cities conversation.  We bring together public sector entities, research institutions, corporations, emerging young companies, and startups working to improve mobility, increase connectivity, and build a safer, smarter, more efficient, and sustainable surface transportation network to transform the way we move.

ITS America recognizes that today’s startups will play a significant role in shaping smarter cities and, as such, has created a unique opportunity for emerging companies in high-tech transportation to participate in this year’s World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems, taking place September 7-11, 2014, in Detroit, Michigan. The program is called Transportation for Tomorrow and it will highlight the best and brightest innovators working to create smarter cities through intelligent transportation solutions.

What is Transportation for Tomorrow
Transportation for Tomorrow is a two part program, consisting of the Entrepreneurial Village and the Investor Matching Event, that will bring together premier financial and strategic investment groups with entrepreneurs that possess cutting-edge ideas in safety, mobility, and sustainability in transportation.

Entrepreneurial Village
For the first time ever our 300,000 sq. ft. exhibit floor in Cobo Center will feature an Entrepreneurial Village where emerging companies & startups will have a dedicated space for promoting their most innovative ideas and technologies that are fueling smarter cities and fundamentally changing the way we move, to more than 10,000 attendees from around the world. Learn more.

Investor Matching Event
Sponsored by Fontinalis Partners, LLC., and Econolite Group, Inc., the ITS America Investor Matching Event will open the doors to capital for approximately 15 companies, selected through a competitive application process, to pitch their plans during the 2014 ITS World Congress. Don’t miss your opportunity to showcase your company or pitch your ideas to a panel of premier financial investment leaders.

Do you have what it takes or know of a startup that does?
Bring your best pitch, and meet us in Detroit this September.  Startups interested in participating in Transportation for Tomorrow’s Investor Matching Event are required to submit a business plan for evaluation. There is no page limit and your proposal should be as long as you need to make your business’ case.  Download the official application for complete requirements.
