People change systems.

The New Shared Mobility Summit invests in people to accelerate that change.

This curated gathering unites change leaders to build trust, challenge assumptions, and shape a future where safe, reliable, and affordable transportation is within everyone’s reach, even if they don’t own a car.

At its core are regional Change Teams: cross-sector coalitions of 8–12 change leaders from cities, community organizations, transportation agencies, philanthropy, and more. Together, they create a national network of solidarity, align on strategies, and commit to action for people-centered mobility.

2025 New Summit

Our first cohort included 10 Change Teams from Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Fresno/Central CA Valley, Greater Michigan, Greater Minnesota, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

The energy, collaboration, and momentum they sparked at the New Summit was inspiring.

Check out our recap page to see our Change Teams in action.

2025 New Summit Highlights

How is the New Summit different?

We flip the script.

Instead of one-way lectures, we center questions, conversations and discussions—because the richest insights come from the people in the room, not just the ones on stage.

We foster trust.

Before we meet, we create shared agreements. During the event, we curate collaborative discussions and build in moments for intentional reflection—because trust is the foundation for future action, together.

We commit to equity.

Our Change Teams are formed by local champions who know the leaders driving real change—regardless of their titles. We waive fees and offer travel stipends, because cost should never be a barrier to hearing diverse voices.
