With more than 10 Lakh private cars on roads of Bangalore, and 30 minutes of average wait time on road, car-pooling looks like a perfect solution to Vardhan Koshal and Srivatsan Mohan, the duo who launched Ridingo, a car pooling tech startup. Koramangala’The aim behind launching this startup in Bangalore was to increase the efficiency of current transport system. Backed by Rajesh Sawhney’s GSF accelerator, and one of the selected startup at IT industry body National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM)’s 10,000 start-ups initiative, Ridingo wants to cash on by filling empty car seats of the people. Basically, Ridingo helps people share empty seats inside their car while commuting between home and office.
